Cirklr is a simple, community-driven platform that helps people borrow, lend, and share everyday items — from tools and garden gear to household materials — with others in their own community circles.

Instead of buying something you'll only use once, you can borrow it from someone you already know and trust. Cirklr makes sharing easy, sustainable, and local.

Whether you live in a housing association, a small village, or a city block, Cirklr helps you save money, reduce waste, and strengthen community connections.

Getting started is simple:

Join your existing circle or create a new one with your community.

Add items you're open to sharing.

Browse what others have listed and send a request directly through the platform.

Once an item owner accepts your request, you can chat, arrange pickup, and later mark the exchange as complete — all within the app.

Cirklr is free to use for small groups (up to 30 items and 20 users per circle).

For larger communities, there's a small yearly fee of 40 kr to help support the service.

You can also create as many circles and items as you like, and send unlimited requests.

After a successful beta phase in 2025, Cirklr is now moving into a pilot program where several communities and organizations in Stockholm will be among the first to use the platform.

This pilot will help us fine-tune Cirklr and prepare it for a wider launch — and we're excited to see how communities will make it their own.
