We're thrilled to announce that Cirklr is about to kick off its first real-world pilot — in a housing association (bostadsrättsförening) right here in Stockholm.

This is a milestone we've been working toward since the very beginning. Taking Cirklr out of development and into a real, living community is the true test of everything we've built. How will residents discover the app? Which items will people share first? How quickly will a circle feel natural and familiar? These are the questions we'll start answering.

What excites us most is watching how people make Cirklr their own. Every community has its own rhythm and culture, and seeing residents adapt the platform to their everyday needs — in ways we may not have anticipated — is exactly the kind of insight that shapes what Cirklr becomes next.

Engagement will be a key measure of success. It's not just about how many items get listed or borrowed; it's about whether Cirklr becomes a natural part of how neighbors interact and support each other. A single exchange that sparks a conversation between two residents who hadn't met before is worth a great deal to us.

The pilot will run over a defined period, during which we'll gather feedback, observe usage patterns, and stay in close contact with participating residents and the association's board. Their experiences will directly inform the next round of improvements to the platform.
